Artificial Reasoning and Leaky Pipes

How monitoring lets us down by shrugging off non-trivial causation.

In a series of recent papers, I sketched out a particular way of looking at reasoning, based on the idea that space and time are at the root of all our cognitive and logical processes. It's a simple idea with deep consequences, that reasoning is about the ability to represent aggregate clusters convergently, rather than the traditional one that reasoning is about addressing and searching for nodes in a tree. The results have been implemented (as proof of concept) in my Open Source Cellibrium project.
